Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with an experienced team, delivering specialized education to a small caseload of learners in a supportive school environment. You will guide students through thoughtfully designed instruction and provide essential academic and behavioral support.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active New Hampshire Teaching License
- Experience working with students with behavioral and mental health needs, preferably in a self-contained or specialized setting
- Case management knowledge: developing IEPs, conducting student evaluations, and compiling supportive reports
- Strong collaboration skills for working with families, related service providers, and school staff
- Excellent organizational abilities and dedication to student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction tailored to each student in the self-contained program
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10-16 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and meaningful progress
- Conduct educational assessments, compile reports, and actively participate in eligibility and progress meetings
- Foster a positive, trauma-informed classroom climate promoting student engagement and well-being
- Collaborate with school counselors, social workers, and administrators to provide consistent behavioral supports
This role is scheduled for 32.5 to 35 hours per week, following school hours of 7:30 AM – 2:20 PM, offering you predictable workdays and the fulfillment of contributing directly to students’ growth.
