HVAC Service Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in various commercial settings. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems to provide comfortable environments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and rooftop units (RTUs).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and work performed.
Qualifications
- MA Refrigeration license is a must.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, refrigeration, and ductwork is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding of construction processes.
