Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials is needed to support K-12 students in Barre, VT for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract role will provide in-person behavioral support and intervention services across Barre City Elementary & Middle School and Barre Town Middle & Elementary School, following the academic calendar from ASAP through June 19, 2026 (tentative).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies
- Provide training and guidance to school personnel regarding evidence-based behavioral practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state guidelines
- Support students across a range of needs within both elementary and middle school settings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; other education plus 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination considered
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential preferred
- Knowledge of developmental stages and behavioral approaches appropriate for K-12 populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams

- Barre, Vermont (in-person role serving multiple schools within the district)
