Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across grades K-12 as a Physical Therapist. This position provides comprehensive leave coverage from November through March, offering a consistent, full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week. Collaborate with school professionals and families to deliver exceptional physical therapy services in an engaging educational environment near Cambridge, MA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist within the state
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans for K-12 students
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their mobility, participation, and overall access to educational programs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individual education program (IEP) goals, and document progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to adapt learning environments and activities
  • Communicate regularly with families concerning student progress and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required service documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
