In this contract role, you’ll work .6 FTE and support a diverse elementary school caseload, providing services that help students thrive academically and develop essential life skills. What we’re looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapist certificate for New Hampshire
- Experience or strong interest in working within an elementary school environment
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy tailored to students’ individual needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and teamwork mentality
- Previous school-based OT experience is a plus, but motivated candidates new to the setting are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students to identify OT needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services as part of students’ education programs
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school procedures and regulatory standards
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Providing resources and education to teachers and families to support student progress
- Adapting therapeutic interventions to school routines and activities
