Job DescriptionQuality TechnicianAbout the Role
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing quality operations through receiving, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAIs). This role applies metrology and GD&T principles to inspect precision components, develop CMM programs, support quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform receiving, in-process, final inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAIs)

Apply GD&T and metrology principles to verify product conformance

Create and utilize CMM programs from engineering drawings and CAD models
-
Support inspection activities using manual and automated measurement systems

Resolve quality-related issues and support operators, inspectors, and engineers
-
Train inspectors and technicians on inspection procedures and measurement equipment
-
Participate in tooling fixture, gauge, and quality improvement projects

Assist with development of inspection instructions and quality procedures

Support Lean Manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives

Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required
-
4+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
-
4+ years of experience using inspection equipment and metrology tools
-
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading

Experience with CMM and Vision System operation

Experience inspecting precision machined components
-
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
