Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist and make a difference in the lives of students in a dynamic educational setting! This contract opportunity provides a chance to work part-time—14 hours per week—serving both middle and high school students through impactful therapy and support.
As an integral part of the team, you'll use your skills to help students thrive in their learning environment, developing key life and academic skills. You'll have the opportunity to manage evaluations, contribute to individualized educational plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy, enhancing students' ability to participate in school activities.
What we're looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state.
- Previous experience working with middle and high school students is highly valued.
- Background in conducting evaluations, setting IEP goals, and delivering hands-on therapy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Passion for supporting young people's growth and well-being.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated student care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for assigned caseloads.
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based consultations as required.
