A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse Licensure professional to serve as a School Nurse within an elementary school setting in Rochester, NH. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June, with potential for extended summer work in the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Responsibilities include case management, providing direct nursing services to students, collaborating with classroom teachers on necessary modifications and accommodations, and assisting with the development and writing of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The nurse will manage a caseload typical of an elementary school environment, ensuring the health and safety of students while supporting their educational experience.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active Registered Nurse Licensure
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with special education or elementary students
- Proficiency in case management, healthcare documentation, and IEP collaboration
- Strong communication skills to partner effectively with educators and families
