Job Description
Job DescriptionSeize the opportunity to advance your career as a Travel Physical Therapist specializing in rehabilitation and mobility, delivering impactful care across dynamic clinical settings. Based in the scenic town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, you will partner with welcoming clinics to restore function, reduce pain, and empower patients to reclaim independence after injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. You’ll design and implement personalized treatment plans, teach practical home programs to patients and caregivers, and mentor fellow clinicians as you lead with evidence-based practice and compassionate communication. This role is more than a job; it’s a purposeful path to broaden your clinical reach, sharpen your diagnostic acumen, and deepen your influence within diverse communities that prize well-being and resilience. If you envision applying the latest PT techniques in real-world environments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and building lasting relationships that extend beyond a single facility, you’ve found the right opportunity. And for those drawn to beauty and culture, Massachusetts offers a compelling backdrop—from the rolling hills and forested trails of the Berkshires to vibrant town centers rich with arts, dining, and history. When you’re ready for new horizons, this role opens doors to assignments at selected sites across the U.S., expanding your professional network while enriching your practice with varied patient populations and care models.
Located in Great Barrington, you’ll enjoy a community-centric setting with access to outdoor adventures, farmers markets, and a thriving arts scene, all while being supported by a network that prioritizes patient outcomes and clinician well-being. The chance to work at multiple locations means you can experience a spectrum of clinical environments—from outpatient orthopedic clinics to post-acute settings—without sacrificing the stability that comes with a consistent traveler program. Whether you’re exploring the Berkshires’ scenic beauty or visiting partner facilities in other regions, you’ll bring advanced PT expertise to facilities that value collaborative care, clear communication, and a patient-first mindset.
Role specifics and benefits: In this role you’ll assess individuals with orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and post-surgical needs, develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans, perform manual techniques, prescribe and supervise therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, assistive device instruction, and strategies for pain management and return-to-function. You’ll monitor progress, adjust treatment plans based on outcomes, document outcomes accurately in EMR, and coordinate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and family members to ensure safe, efficient transitions from hospital or rehab to home. The position provides a robust pathway for professional growth, including opportunities to pursue specialized certifications, expand manual therapy skills, and assume leadership responsibilities within the traveler program. You’ll receive a competitive weekly pay range of $2,428–$2,610, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week and the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment. Additional benefits include a signing bonus, housing assistance, and flexible scheduling designed to support your travel lifestyle while maintaining work–life balance. You will have access to comprehensive support from our team, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, ensuring you’re never navigating a challenge alone. The assignment begins on 11/24/2025, with a duration measured in weeks and the opportunity for extensions based on performance, facility needs, and your professional goals.
Company values and support: Our organization is built on empowering clinicians to grow professionally while delivering exceptional patient care. We invest in ongoing education, clinical mentorship, and career advancement opportunities, while cultivating a collaborative, inclusive culture where your voice is heard and your achievements are celebrated. A supportive work environment means you’re encouraged to innovate, to ask questions, and to pursue the directions that best align with your professional interests and patient needs. Here, your expertise is respected, your development is prioritized, and you’re part of a team that believes in the transformative power of physical therapy to improve lives and communities. If you’re seeking a role that honors your clinical judgment, offers clear pathways for advancement, and places patient outcomes at the heart of every day, you’ve found a home.
