American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele float pool position requiring MA licensure and 2+ years of experience.

- Hospital-based Nursing Float Pool position within the Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
- 12-hour night shift schedule, working every other weekend
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Requires floating to an affiliated hospital as needed
- Uses Epic EMR

Requirements\n

- Active MA RN license required (pending license accepted at time of consideration)
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a day-one pass/fail test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt allowed)
- Must complete Relias onboarding modules with up to two attempts to prepare for onsite testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

- Float pool role supporting Medical-Surgical Telemetry units, including floating to an affiliated facility as needed
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted
- Previous employees of the health system must have a 6-month break since their last assignment before returning
- First-time travelers are not specifically addressed for this position
