About the Role:
Little Stars Daycare & Preschool LLC in Milford, MA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years in a warm, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood development goals
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for preschool-aged children
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activities
- Maintain accurate attendance records, developmental observations, and classroom documentation
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Massachusetts state requirements
- Warm, nurturing, and energetic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
