Job DescriptionCMA – Family Medicine | Days:Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of CMA/practice experience – Required.
- Pediatric (Peds) experience – Required and non-negotiable; specific Peds experience must be clearly listed on the profile.
- National CMA certification/registration – Required.
- AAMA preferred and receives first consideration.
- State-only certification is not accepted.
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience – Required.
- AHA BLS – Required.
- EPIC experience highly preferred.
- Athena experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Must live more than 50 miles from the assignment.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under provider supervision.
- Perform vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic testing.
- Room patients and manage patient flow.
- Prepare patients for office procedures while maintaining infection-control standards.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
- Respond to patient calls and coordinate with other staff as needed.
- Support quality improvement activities and maintain a safe clinical environment.
- May float between multiple outpatient practices based on operational needs.
