This contract position calls for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Candidates must have solid Emergency Department experience and the required certifications for contract nursing roles.

Situated in Nashua, NH, this Emergency Department serves a diverse patient population, including individuals with critical conditions such as trauma, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complex cardiac cases. The unit is well-equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by an experienced team committed to delivering high-quality emergency care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, intervention, and care in the Emergency Department according to established protocols.
• Execute a variety of clinical procedures including trauma care, stroke management, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma care, ultrasound-guided IV insertion, intraosseous insertion, EKG administration and interpretation, psychiatric evaluations, and cardiopulmonary support.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and their families.
• Utilize EMR systems (Sunrise/Allscripts) to document and support patient care.
• Adhere strictly to unit policies and dress codes to maintain safety and professionalism.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience required for contract positions.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are mandatory for contract labor.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, dependability, and punctuality.
• Adaptability to fast-changing scenarios in a high-acuity environment.
• Preferred: EKG interpretation skills and experience with MOAB certification noted.

Schedule/Hours

• Every other weekend availability required for contract labor.
