Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher working within K-12 grade levels, including Elementary, Middle, and High School settings. This full-time contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys from Kindergarten through 12th grade, managing a diverse caseload.

Location: Holyoke, MA
Schedule: Full Time, ASAP through the end of the school year
Grade Levels: K-12, including 1st-12th grades and elementary through high school

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across grades K-12.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique educational goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students in various grade levels, from elementary through high school.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional strategies.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students with varying needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
