This opening is for an ESP/Behavior Interventionist (BI) role with a start date of August 20th. Work a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., aligning with a 37.5-hour week. Interviews are being scheduled with flexibility—while in-person is preferred, virtual conversations can also be arranged to fit your needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Recent experience in a school-based setting as a Paraprofessional or Behavioral Interventionist (BI) preferred
- Ability to build rapport with students and work collaboratively with teaching staff
- Comfortable working with diverse learners in grades K-8
- Patience, strong communication skills, and a caring, positive attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt as needs arise during the school day
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom and behavioral support for assigned students
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students
- Monitor student progress and contribute observations to the educational team
- Model appropriate social and academic behaviors throughout each day
