Make a meaningful impact as a part-time onsite Occupational Therapist serving local charter schools near Peterborough, NH. This contract opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys a collaborative, flexible environment, and is committed to supporting students across the Keene and Surry areas. You’ll provide both direct and consultative OT services at two charter school locations—Gathering Waters and Surry Village Charter School—ensuring continuity and quality of care for students in grades 1, 2, and 5.
Collaboration with the director allows for a flexible scheduling approach, making it easier to balance your professional and personal commitments. Your expertise and dedication will help students thrive as you deliver approximately 110 hours of OT services for the remainder of the school year, supporting a range of needs with both direct interventions and vital consults.
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy (OT) certificate required
- Experience delivering school-based OT services, particularly in a charter or public school setting
- Ability to travel between Keene and Surry locations (schools are just 15 minutes apart)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently and part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined by student requirements
- Support students’ development and engagement in academic activities across multiple grade levels
- Maintain organized records of student progress and services delivered
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create and implement effective service plans
- Adapt schedules and services based on student and school needs
