Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time virtual special education tutoring opportunity is available for a contract duration of one full semester. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing work to be completed Monday through Friday or on weekends to accommodate individual preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored special education instruction virtually to meet diverse student needs
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans in accordance with special education guidelines
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and educational staff
- Utilize specialized strategies and tools to support students with various learning challenges
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure in Special Education
- Demonstrated experience in working with special education students in an online setting or traditional classroom environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently in a remote setting
Location: This is a virtual role, with services provided remotely supporting students based in Massachusetts.
Contract Type: Full-time contract for the duration of one academic semester on a 1099 basis.
