A remote Pharmacist opportunity is available for candidates holding an active pharmacist license in any state. This contract-to-hire role offers the chance to work with a dedicated healthcare organization focused on Part B drug and biologic prior authorization reviews and appeals, supporting clinical policy application in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Location: Remote (open to candidates nationwide with valid state licensure)
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM EST
• Mandatory weekend and holiday rotation
• No days off unless emergency from 01/01/27 to 03/31/2027
  Contract Duration: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Review Part B drug and biologic prior authorization requests and appeals in accordance with Medicare and clinical policies
• Apply utilization management criteria to authorization decisions, ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Provide clinical support and answer inquiries related to Part B drug policies for internal teams
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance review quality and operational efficiency
• Adapt to changing workflows and business requirements while maintaining high-quality productivity

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree with an active pharmacist license in at least one state
• Minimum of 2 years utilization management experience, managed care residency, or relevant specialty pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical judgment with ability to independently evaluate complex Part B drug requests
• Experience with Part B drug prior authorization and appeals review highly preferred
• Prior utilization management and prior authorization experience is a significant plus
