Job Details
MD will:
- Provides supervision to no more than two nurse practitioners or physician’s assistants at any time.
- Precepts internal medicine residents.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an appropriate medical training program in Internal or Family Medicine.
Experience in geriatric medicine preferred.
Current Massachusetts license to practice medicine.
Certified by appropriate medical specialty board, or eligible for certification.
Current controlled substance registration certificate from both the federal government and the state of Massachusetts.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic.
Experience in a setting that is passionate about community health.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients and with staff.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, teaching and organizational skills.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Cape Verdean Creole desirable.
