A unique opportunity is available for a licensed RN or LPN with school nursing experience to provide specialized care in a school setting in Framingham, MA. This part-time role focuses on supporting a young student who requires nursing assistance both during the school day and during transportation. The position spans from now through June 30, 2026, with summer work options and an opportunity for NSY renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to a 3-year-old student with a tracheostomy and ventilator support as needed.
- Accompany and monitor the student on the van before and after school hours.
- Maintain safety and wellness of the ambulatory and very active student throughout the day.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all school-based regulatory and health compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN or LPN licensure in Massachusetts is required.
- Demonstrated school nursing experience is essential.
- Ability to pass CORI background check and fingerprinting.
- Strong communication skills to participate in a Zoom interview.
- Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in a preschool environment.
- CNAs and medical assistants will not be considered.
Schedule and Location:
- Part-time, onsite position located in Framingham, MA.
- Workdays are Mondays and Fridays only.
- Summer work availability is offered.
