Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized speech-language pathology opportunity is available for the 20262027 school year within a unique high school program serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This contract position offers an engaging, collaborative environment focused on fostering personalized growth and independence for students through targeted, supportive education outside traditional classroom settings.
Location: Ludlow, Massachusetts
Position Type: Contract, 20262027 school year (approximate dates: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027)
Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Setting: High school supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Compass High Program
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services tailored to high school students with ASD and diverse learning differences
- Provide supervision and mentorship to an SLPA to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Support students in building communication and life skills to promote greater independence
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification requirements met for school-based speech-language pathology practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school settings, particularly with high school populations and specialized programs for ASD or learning differences
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
