Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain infection prevention and control programs
- Conduct infection surveillance and monitor infection trends
- Assist with outbreak investigations and prevention strategies
- Perform infection-control audits and compliance monitoring
- Provide infection prevention education and training to staff
- Maintain accurate infection-control documentation and reports
- Monitor adherence to facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative teams

Requirements Active Infection Preventionist (IP) certification Previous Infection Prevention & Control experience preferred Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
