Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to orders and established protocols.
- Position patients, select appropriate exposure parameters, and operate CT equipment.
- Maintain patient safety and apply ALARA principles; monitor for artifacts and adjust technique as needed.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate with radiologists as required.
- Ensure accurate imaging documentation and high-quality images; assist with image quality checks.
- Assist with contrast administration as appropriate and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Ability to perform CT imaging procedures in a hospital setting.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a travel assignment with a weekend-day shift pattern.
- Adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and facility policies.
- Ability to collaborate with radiology staff and physicians to support patient care.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
