Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students in the vibrant Peterborough, NH area. This school-based position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact across two elementary campuses, providing engaging, evidence-based therapy that addresses students’ unique communication needs. The assignment spans the 2026–2027 academic year, running from August 26 to June 15, with a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week.
Your expertise will play a vital role in helping children gain confidence and skills in speech, language, voice, and fluency. You’ll join a supportive clinical community, applying the latest strategies to create a positive difference in the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Communication Disorders or a closely related field (per licensure requirements)
- Current or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC)
- Clinical experience required; school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to plan and deliver individualized interventions tailored to diverse elementary student populations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services across two elementary schools
- Assess, diagnose, and develop interventions targeting language, speech sound, fluency, and voice disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and program guidelines
- Apply evidence-based practices and stay abreast of current best practices within the field
