Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while still being an integral part of a collaborative outpatient practice. You will connect with a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality mental health services. Our supportive virtual environment allows for effective teamwork and shared learning. While the standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate the scheduling needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, taking into account a patient's history and specific needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing and processing trauma, fostering resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored specifically to meet individual patient needs.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients articulate their experiences, work through their trauma, and learn practical coping strategies for everyday life.

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and medical staff to coordinate integrated care and ensure a comprehensive approach to patient wellness.

  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving and emotional regulation skills.
  • \n

  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to aid in their recovery.

  • Maintain precise, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while adhering to organizational protocols.

  • Stay abreast of the latest research and evolving practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of individuals who have faced various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a supportive environment where each patient feels understood and empowered to embark on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • \n

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient patient management and documentation.
  • \n

  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations, reflecting a strong understanding of the therapeutic process.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in roles focused on trauma-informed care and therapy. Experience with trauma-focused therapy techniques and interventions would be advantageous, alongside a strong commitment to enhancing patient care through continuous learning and evolving practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
