Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certification for a dynamic cardiology team.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with 1 procedure room
  • Average daily caseload of 4 patients
  • Perform elective and emergent PCI, pacemaker and ICD implants, IABP, Impella, and STEMI cases
  • Day shifts, 8 hours, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Call is required
  • No floating or weekend requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR for documentation; Epic experience required
  • Responsibilities include assisting with cath lab procedures, monitoring patients, and supporting emergent interventions
  • Opportunities to use or develop skills with monitoring, ablations, pacemaker/defib device placement, hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and electrophysiology evaluation are preferred but not required
  • Scrubs of any type may be worn
  • Orientation provided based on experience
  • Former employees of any SolutionHealth facility are not eligible for travel positions
  • First-time travelers may be considered based on experience
  • Travelers living within 50 miles are eligible at the local rate
  • A drug screen must be completed within 14 days prior to start

  • Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab Tech experience required
  • Current ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Valid NH state license required if applicable
  • Proven skills in scrubbing, balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, obtaining vitals, and rhythm interpretation
  • References are required for consideration; may start with second reference pending
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Only AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted
