This full-time school psychologist position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students within a public school setting. Located in North Adams, MA, this contract role spans the current school year and is designed for professionals holding a valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license. You will play a critical role in enhancing student well-being and academic success through assessments, interventions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop support strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services for students across the K-12 spectrum
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to create effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist with compliance related to special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working with diverse K-12 populations in educational settings
