Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed for the K-12 educational setting in Nashua, NH, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from an ASAP start date through June 19, 2026, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and effective sign language interpretation for students across various grade levels and classrooms within a K-12 environment
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate communication access
• Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the diverse needs of students with varying hearing abilities
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license required
• National certification is highly preferred; however, candidates with an EIPA score of 3.8 or higher and a written EIPA test on file will be considered
• Ability to work onsite full-time throughout the contract duration
• Experience working in educational settings with children of varying ages is beneficial
