Director of Nursing Services
An established skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) to provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of exceptional resident care. DON Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all nursing services to ensure the highest level of resident care and clinical excellence.

Provide direction, coaching, and support to nursing managers and staff while promoting professional growth and accountability.

Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices to maintain quality outcomes.

Coordinate with physicians, department heads, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care.

Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as CMS standards and other regulatory requirements.

Monitor clinical performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance quality and resident satisfaction.

Assist with staffing oversight, scheduling, departmental budgeting, and efficient allocation of clinical resources.

Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners while representing the organization professionally.
Minimum Requirements (Must Have):

Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience.

Previous experience as a DON, ADON, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership role.

Working knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and regulatory compliance.
