Part-time, onsite Occupational Therapy services are needed for the remainder of the school year, serving students from early elementary through middle grades. This is a contract opportunity with a flexible schedule coordinated with the director, making it ideal for professionals seeking adaptability and balance.
Key Qualifications:
- NH Occupational Therapy certificate required
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based OT highly preferred
- Strong consultation and collaboration skills for supporting staff and students
- Ability to provide direct therapy and consultative services according to student IEPs
- Reliable transportation to service both Keene and Surry locations (approximately 15 minutes apart)
- Organizational skills to manage and document multiple service types and frequencies
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted direct OT sessions for individuals and small groups as outlined in student plans
- Conduct regular consultation with teachers, families, and staff to support classroom participation and student goals
- Provide services at Gathering Waters upper (grade 5) and lower campus (grades 1 & 2), as well as Surry Village upper campus
- Maintain thorough case notes and accurate documentation of minutes provided and student progress
- Offer professional insight into adaptive strategies, sensory accommodations, and skill development for a diverse student population
- Coordinate scheduling of sessions and consults with the director to achieve service delivery across locations
