COTA Position
Location: Georgetown, MA
Schedule: 25-30 hours/week, flexible on the days
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting in Georgetown, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Implement individualized treatment plans and support students in achieving their functional and educational goals.
- Assist students with developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skills.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the implementation of students’ IEP goals, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts COTA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for supporting students with diverse developmental and educational needs.
