Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
- Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans targeted at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Utilize recognized therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote patient healing.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
- Engage in collaborative clinical practices with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
- Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support during emergency situations linked to trauma.
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of available resources for support.
- Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of patient interactions and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Your work will primarily engage with individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, including, but not limited to, those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically in trauma-informed care and therapy.
- Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and approaches to building resilience.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
- The ability to maintain composure under pressure while providing empathetic support to clients.
- Competence with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Collaborative spirit, capable of working within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
