Job DescriptionPay: $35.00 per hourLocation: Palmer, MAShift: 7:00 AM - 3:30PM

REQUIRMENTS:

MUST HAVE HEAVY EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities including but

not limited to forklifts, warehouse, vehicles, and machinery.

Performs assigned repairs and maintenance such as tune-ups and oil change, checks

tires and brakes, replaces spark plugs, replace batteries, starters, lights and engages in

other similar tasks. (fabrication)

Identifies mechanical problems visually and/or with computer diagnostic equipment.

Performs test on tools and equipment to ensure repairs are completed properly including

test drives.

Assists in inventory of replacement parts and equipment.

Assists in maintaining repair log for all equipment.

Advises supervisor of equipment and facilities malfunctions that may require purchase of

new parts, pieces, or equipment.

Maintains a clean, safe work area by returning tools to proper location.

Assist in coaching new hires during the on-boarding process.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred: Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical

school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent

combination of education and experience.

Computer skills required: Time Labor Management System; and Electronic Mail

Software (Outlook).

Other skills required:

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work closely with peers on team orientated goals.

Ability to follow company directives and instruction.

In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
