Job Details
• Position: Central Sterile Technician
• Location: Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
• Hospital System: Mass General Brigham
• Work Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Job Requirements
• CST Certification (NBSTA or NCCT) required for Massachusetts locations, preferred for New Hampshire (WDH)
• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
• Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months of start date
• Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation if fit test is required
• 2 recent references, minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions
• MGB Education Verification through background check company
• MGB SSN Trace with criminal check listing addresses/aliases for past 7 years
• MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually
• MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually
• MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission

Schedule Information
• Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
• Days: Monday through Friday

Additional Details
• MMR vaccine or proof of immunity required
• Hepatitis B vaccine strongly preferred but optional
• Influenza vaccine mandatory during flu season with no exemptions
• TB test documentation required and must be updated if break >6 months
• Health statement must be updated if break >6 months
• Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
• Respirator Medical Clearance required if fit test needed
