What You'll Do
As an Assistant Baker at Blue Loon Bakery, you’ll play an essential role in our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and baking of a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Following recipes and maintaining consistency in product quality.
- Ensuring the kitchen and baking areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Collaborating with the team to meet daily production goals and fulfill customer orders.
- Helping to maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least 1 year of baking experience—whether in a professional bakery, restaurant, or similar setting.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of baking, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Hourly wage plus participation in our shared tip pool (typically an additional $3–$5 per hour).
