Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with experience in preparing medications and supporting pharmacy operations in a long-term care (LTC) setting. This role involves working with a closed-door pharmacy focused on delivering accurate and timely medication services.

Location:

  • Boston, MA (with assignment in Foxborough, MA)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
  • Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, such as blister packs and unit-dose formats, for timely delivery to residents.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, ensuring proper storage and attention to expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
  • Operate within a high-volume environment managing roughly 600 prescriptions daily, demonstrating speed and efficiency.
  • Use Frameworks software for pharmacy management (training provided).

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience, particularly in high-volume settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
