Make a difference in children’s lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting elementary students in a dynamic school-based setting located near Quincy, MA. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning ASAP through June 18, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 34 hours per week. You’ll work alongside a committed educational team to foster communication, language, and social skills for young learners. SLP-CFs are encouraged to apply and will receive mentoring and guidance for their professional growth.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possess a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Hold or be eligible for licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification (Clinical Fellows welcome)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Deliver therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
