Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Proven ability to deliver Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) virtually
  • Experience working 1:1 with elementary or middle school students
  • Strong communication and adaptability for online instruction
  • Collaborative skills to coordinate with district and family support

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2 hours per week of direct instruction virtually to a single 5th-grade student
  • Offer indirect support as needed, depending on assignment updates
  • Adjust session timing for maximum effectiveness based on student needs and other service schedules
  • Track progress, communicate with school teams, and support the student’s transition to future placement
