Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Randolph, VT

Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established retail organization in the Randolph, Vermont area to help them hire a Store Manager. This role is responsible for leading day-to-day store operations, managing a team of 15–25 employees, and driving performance across customer service, sales, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, schedule, and develop a team of 15–25 store employees

Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that supports retention and performance

Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and merchandising

Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals

Manage inventory control, ordering, stocking, and shrink prevention

Handle cash management, register balancing, deposits, and financial reporting

Ensure compliance with safety standards, labor laws, and operational policies

Implement promotions and operational initiatives aligned with company standards
Qualifications and Must-Haves

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams

Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills

Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and financial reporting

Ability to analyze sales data and operational metrics

Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
