The successful attorney will manage civil defense matters from inception through resolution, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, client reporting, mediation, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission required
  • Rhode Island admission is strongly preferred for junior candidates
  • New Hampshire or Connecticut admission is a plus
  • Prior law firm litigation experience
  • Civil defense litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial work preferred
  • Strong research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage an active caseload while collaborating with colleagues

Compensation & Benefits

  • $100,000–$150,000 based on experience

  • Monday through Friday
