Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school, pediatric, or educational environment
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Proficiency in developing creative, engaging interventions to support fine motor, sensory, and life skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy to individual student needs
Your Role:
- Evaluate and assess students referred for occupational therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Support students’ accessibility and participation in school activities
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on student needs and accommodations
- Educate staff on best practices for supporting students’ motor and sensory development
