Job Description

Project Manager – Construction (Renewables)

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager – Construction to help bring next-generation energy infrastructure projects to life. This is your chance to play a leading role in the energy transition — developing and delivering projects that provide reliable, low-carbon power while creating real benefits for local communities. This role comes with an opportunity to grow into a high-level position.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and love seeing your work make a tangible impact, this role is for you.

Please note: This position requires full-time, 100% on-site presence during the construction phase.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the Build

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of major energy projects from the ground up.
  • Be the on-site leader ensuring construction stays on schedule, within budget, and up to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage relationships with EPC partners, contractors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Own Procurement & Contracts

  • Lead procurement efforts to secure materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Negotiate key EPC and major equipment agreements.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to optimize cost and schedule performance.

Drive Project Success

  • Monitor progress, budgets, and risks — and take proactive steps to keep everything on track.
  • Serve as the bridge between construction, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Resolve challenges quickly and effectively to keep work moving forward.

Control the Costs

  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets.
  • Implement cost control measures and handle change management.
  • Deliver clear financial and project updates to senior leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management and procurement — ideally in the power or energy sector.
  • A proven record of delivering large, complex construction projects safely and successfully.
  • Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities — you know how to motivate teams and manage stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multi-billion-dollar projects with multiple moving parts.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% during development and 100% on-site during the construction phase.

Why Join

You’ll join a team that’s entrepreneurial, collaborative, and committed to building a cleaner, more reliable energy future. Every project you touch will have a direct impact on the environment, the economy, and the communities we serve.

If you’re ready to lead meaningful projects and be part of a purpose-driven organization shaping the future of energy — we’d love to hear from you.
