This role offers the distinct opportunity to work Monday-Thursday, 8 am to 12 pm, supporting students with disabilities as they reach their goals through individualized services. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure each student’s progress during the extended school year (ESY) session.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current occupational therapy license for the state.
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment required.
- Solid understanding of the IEP process and IDEA.
- Ability to implement individualized plans and document in compliance with requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy per IEP guidelines.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support student motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and service provision.
- Collaborate with educational staff, related service providers, and families.
- Adapt activities to address the unique needs of each student in various settings.
