What you bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist license valid in the state
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially middle and high school populations, is strongly preferred
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and progressing IEP goals, and delivering both direct and consultative therapy
- Proven ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Adept at documentation, progress monitoring, and communication suited for a school-based multidisciplinary team
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload focused on middle and high school students, assessing their unique needs and strengths
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring therapy interventions aligned with IEP objectives
- Collaborating regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational participation and independence
- Documenting progress, evaluations, and service notes with accuracy and attention to compliance
- Participating in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise within a supportive team
