Maximum Census: 25 Patients
Approximately 3-8 Admissions Per Shift
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Overnight Hospitalist Coverage
Manage Admissions
Provide Night Coverage for Admitted Patients
Manage Patients in an Open ICU
Provide Management of DKA
Manage Atrial Fibrillation With Rapid Ventricular Response (AFib With RVR)
Manage Ventilated Patients in Collaboration With Respiratory Therapy
Must Be Comfortable Independently Managing Higher-Acuity Patients Without Tele-Intensivist Support

Board Certified - Required
Active Maine Medical License - Required
Epic Experience - Required
COVID-19 Vaccination - Required

Provider Must Be Credentialed With the Presenting Agency
Must Be Comfortable Managing an Open ICU
Must Be Comfortable Managing DKA, AFib With RVR, and Ventilated Patients
