Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) licensure appropriate for the grade level
- Previous experience as a special education teacher in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and differentiated instruction strategies
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ specific needs
- Provide direct instruction and academic support in reading, math, and other core subjects
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to coordinate services and monitor progress
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to accommodate different learning abilities
- Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and data required by the school
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
