Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent Cerner EMR experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the hospital Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
- Float pool assignment may include coverage at nearby hospital locations
- Day shifts are 12 hours in length (7a-7p)
- No on-call requirements for this role
- Care for adult patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
- Use Cerner EMR; prior experience within the last 12 months required
- May be asked to float to hold areas in the ER as needed
- Travelers may be required to cover shifts at Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin
- Must work at least one holiday during the contract
- Weekly orientation provided at the start of assignment
- Perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a local rate

- Active NH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; temporary licenses are not accepted
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- BLS certification required; NIHSS required by start date; ACLS preferred
- Proven Cerner EMR experience within the past 12 months
- Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
- Two recent references from Nurse Manager or Charge RN required
- Critical Care RNs may be considered if comfortable with med-surg ratios and acuity
