Construction Superintendent
Our growing company is seeking to find a professional Construction Superintendent who would assist with medium-size to large size construction projects ranging in value of $500k-7M in the Greater Boston area. Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Overseeing field personal, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations
- Supervise and schedule subcontractors, and other miscellaneous commercial construction crews daily
- Schedule all facets of new commercial construction and/or rehabilitation for a big single project and up to three small projects simultaneously
- Provide leadership and direction to construction personnel
- Take active role in emphasizing safety, quality and production, leading by example
- Coordinate equipment and crews and other job-related activities to maximize efficiency
- Protection and enhancement of public relations, company image, and company’s worth
- Have a working knowledge of all required plans and specifications
- Timely complete of assigned operations and stay within budget
- Utilization of Construction Softwares
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in supervising construction projects.
- Demonstrate positive decision-making skills and the ability to build buildings in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a high production environment
- Excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced with remodeling and new construction process of buildings
- Degree in construction management or similar area is desired but not necessary
- Demonstrate an ability to manage, supervise, schedule, and delegate in timely manner
- Willingness to work with and receive guidance with manager
- Willingness to work with a chain of command
- Valid CSL nad OSHA card
