Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-year contract position supporting K-12 students across multiple school locations in Vermont. This role is onsite with no virtual options available. The primary worksite is in Cabot, with additional support responsibilities at Twinfield and out-of-district placements in the Barre/Berlin area.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support students' speech and language development within the school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric populations and be comfortable managing caseloads in varied school environments.
Key qualifications and skills:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Completion or pursuit of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language therapy (K-12)
- Familiarity with healthcare procedures and pediatric SLP services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed
This contract position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $55 per hour. The role requires onsite presence across specified locations in Vermont, providing direct, hands-on support to students in need of speech-language services.
