- Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents through clinical care and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
Required Requirements:
- Valid LPN or LVN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- CPR/BLS certification (current).
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a SNF or long-term care facility.
- Ability to work flexible PRN shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
